Solar water heating
Twin coil cylinder
This is the most common and efficient solar water heating method.
Pre-heat tank
A storage cylinder can be located above your existing storage tank usually located in the loft area, this is then linked into the feed to your existing storage cylinder with an option to tie directly into your hot water supply using a 3-way motorised valve to divert the supply at a pre-determined temperature.
Combi-boiler applications
This can be applied in a number of ways dependent on your current system layout - a survey would be required in this instance.
Swimming pool & hot tub
applications
Collector panel area sizing will be based
on 25% of the surface area of the pool / hot tub, the circulation loop will pass through a solar heat exchanger. This is manufactured from stainless steel
to prevent corrosion due to the chlorine in the water. This system can be linked into your existing hot water supply if required.
Commercial solar water heating
A series of collector panels and storage cylinders can be linked together to provide a substantial hot water supply for commercial usage.
